The car incident. (At the circus.) Part 2

The story so far: I had just won tickets to go to the shrine circus with my family. But near the end, we went to leave. Then something happened that we did not expect.

What, just, happened?!  I thought in my head.  It was smokey all of a sudden because of the air-bags. The sound of coughing filled the car.  Yes, we had just been in a car accident. When we got out of the car, tears filled my eyes.

My mom got a police officer to take care of the situation, but we were still sad. Some of me and my sister’s face paint washed off from the tears in our eyes. We had nowhere to go. We went inside of the building.

————————

Everyone was leaving. There were all the people who made this circus show possible eating a huge feast. Man, I’m hungry. I thought. Just then there was a clown coming near us. He gave us a card with him on the cover about to hit a golf-ball.

Then my Mom called our Grandma to pick us up.  We went to McDonalds, and got our Happy Meals. Then when we went home, we watched some TV.

The next day, we didn’t go to school. Even though it was Martian Luther King Jr. day.
But we eventually got a new car. It was a white car that we named Beti.

————————

There’s a lesson that we can learn from this story. That God will protect us. In Psalm 23:4-5, it says “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.” Just like in accidents, God and his angels will protect us.  We just have to believe in him.

The end
