One morning I was watching Good Morning America. Sam Champion was saying Board up those windows because Hurricane Sandy was hitting New York. And it’s hitting HARD!!! My dad already boarded up the windows and he also went to Wal-Mart to buy batteries, flashlights, canned goods,and water bottles. We were ready for Sandy to strike.
3 days later
Hurricane Sandy did hit HARD, Just like Sam Champion said it would 3 days ago. My family and I hid in the attic with all our supplies. 2 adults, 3 kids, (including me), and 1 Yorkie. It was PRETTY crowded!! 
I was EXTREMELY scared 
that our house would get knocked down!!! 30 minutes later the attic lights flickered off.
