This week, I volunteered to speak to the 8th grade English class at Spencerville Academy.
I was kind of nervous, but God calmed my nerves and I was able to give a good presentation. I told them about my spiritual journey and where and what God had taken me through. There were a lot of ups and downs in my journey, but in the end, it made me into who I am today. The main thing I wanted the students to understand was that when you’re on your spiritual journey, you must cling to God because He’s the only thing that will make sense during that period. It’s going to be tough and you may get down on yourself when things don’t go the way you want them too, but you must persevere and hold on to God’s promises.
At the end of the presentation, I shared with the class all of the Guides that I’ve ever written. They had lots of fun reading, I’m just glad God was able to use me to speak to His children.
