Running the Race

How do you run the race?

In Hebrews 12:1, the Bible tells us the to run the race with endurance, but what does that mean? Well, endurance is just a fancy word for energy. The Bible wants us to run the race with lots of energy so that we won’t get tired quickly. The “race” that the Bible is referring to is our Christian walk. This isn’t a Sabbath afternoon walk, but more so, how we live our lives every day for Jesus. So completely breaking it down, Hebrews 12:1 now says this: “How are you going to live your life for God? With lots of energy, ready to take on any challenge, or with no energy and not wanting to face any challenges at all?”
It’s a little easier to decide which side you want to be on now, right?
I want to run the race with plenty of endurance! To help me illustrate this further, I want to show you all the difference between two runners. One is a sprinter and the other is a marathon runner. They are both athletes, but see if you can apply the spiritual differences between the two. Write you comments below.
Happy Sabbath!
