Matthew 5:16 Following Your Calling

Clayton Kershaw is one of baseball’s greatest pitchers, but how does he use that for God’s glory?

“I didn’t do anything to deserve this gift,” Clayton told the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) Magazine. “God gave me an ability to throw a baseball. He chose me for a reason, and I want to honor Him with that. You can’t control the talents He gives you, no doubt about that. But you can control the effort you put forth with those talents.”

Check out the video below to see what else Clayton had to say about his faith.

Matthew 5:16 says that wee need to let our lights, aka our God-given talents, shine so that others can see how great God is. In whatever you do this week, think about the best ways you can showcase your talents for God’s glory.
