Exodus 9:16 – New Wolverine

Larry Prout Jr. has been battling physical ailments since his birth, but after 90 surgeries, he gets his wish: A Michigan football offer.

Larry committed to the University of Michigan last year. He didn’t consider another school. He lived on a ventilator the first three years of his life. Fought pneumonia various times. Battled sepsis. Didn’t say his first word until he was 3. Didn’t take his first step until he was 9. Exodus 9:16 states that God has a purpose for everyone.

Pharaoh mistakenly thought that he was in control. However, God put him in the place of being an Egyptian leader for His purpose. God has a purpose for everyone – including those who resist Him.

God’s glory is being shown despite Larry’s complications, just like God’s glory was shown despite Pharaoh’s plan. Ultimately, He is the Give of purpose in every life.
