Allen Iverson has a special gift for a select few of high school students.
Over the weekend Allen Iverson had his Second annual Allen Iverson Roundball Classic. The participants in this basketball game will receive a special edition pair of the Reebok Answer IV sneakers. This game will feature top high school players that will go on to play Division I basketball in the fall.
These limited editions “All Iverson Roundball Classic” sneakers have some exceptional detailing on the outsole along with some dazzling gold piping. It also says “You Were Chosen” and “Iverson Classic” on the tongue.
What does it mean to be Chosen by God? When God calls someone He enables that person to respond to that call in faith. Jesus Himself chose the disciples and God’s word also says that we are called.
1 Peter 2:29 reads “But you are chosen race, a royal Priesthood, a Holy nation, a people for His own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” Remember that God chooses those to who He will save and then He calls those same.
Now celebrate in the fact that you are a Christian because God chose you to be one. You have the roots of a child of God. Your faith and fruits are God’s eternal gift.
