1 Corinthians 9:10 – Jason Brown’s Harvest

Jason Brown, a former standout in the NFL and at UNC, quit football because he wanted to feed the hungry. Let’s take a closer look at his story.
Jason bought a sprawling 1,030-acre farm near Louisburg, North Carolina to complete with dairy barns and silos. He wasn’t a farmer, but he had a vision and faith.

Jason is counting his blessings and planning to help even more. He hopes to plant at least twice as many acres of sweet potatoes next year, and he envisions a harvest celebration. During harvest time, you reap what you sowed (planted). In 1 Corinthians 9: 10 it states, “…when farmers plow and thresh, they should be able to do so in the hope of sharing in the harvest.”
In the season of thanksgiving, think of things that you are thankful for, but also think of ways that you can use what you’re thankful for to help others.
