Time, Life, & Love

Time Marches along With indifference to the world Only plodding along Never stopping, never waiting Never slowing, never speeding Though sometimes it seems that way

Because of Life Life Does not pause to Consider who you are to Bestow its difficulties Upon you Good Luck and Bad Luck Which people think are opposites Are usually just Life

But Love Came down from His throne He cared for the world Stopping, waiting Bestowing His grace Upon us And one day Love Was nailed to a tree

He took His last breath There, on that cross Time stopped When Life left Love But that is not The end

Because Three days later The tomb where Love had lain Was empty, void Because Love is greater Than the Indifference of Time And the Troubles of Life
