The Not So Best Friends, Chapter 7

I didn’t know what to say to Laura, but right then, right there, I prayed. “God please help Laura to hold strong, and please let her parents live, In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Then I walked over to the ambulance with Laura. The nurse was there, so Laura asked her something.

“Excuse me, my name is Laura, and my parents were involved in the crash.” Laura told the nurse.

“What are your parents’ names?” The nurse asked.

“Kate and Richard.” Laura told her.

“I’m terribly sorry that this happened.” The nurse said affectionately.

“Are they gonna me okay?” Laura asked holding back tears.

“I think so.” The nurse replied. “I will do everything that I can to make sure your parents come home alive.”

“Thank you.” Laura said to the nurse.

“I have to go to the hospital now, and I will call you if there is any changes in your parents.” The nurse said.

“Okay, I will visit soon.” Laura told her.

“You should go get some rest.” The nurse said to Laura.

To be continued!
