Red, White, and Blue – patriotic poem I wrote on 3/14/16

Another blast from the past! This time it’s a poem from the long-gone days when I liked writing poetry. The date is 3/14/2016. In case you can’t read cursive, here’s what it says:
Red, White, and Blue
Red, white, and blue,
Are the colors of my flag,
There are other flags with other hues,
And not to brag,
I think it’s the best,
Don’t you think?
And before I forget,
I’ll tell you about the meanings of the colors red, white, and blue:
White: Purity and innocence
Red: Valor and bravery
Blue: Vigilance, perseverance, and justice
Red, white, and blue.
Of course my mindset about this subject has changed since then. I embrace all my flags (Venezuelan, Chilean, Portuguese, German, and as stated above, American) the same and I love learning about countries and cultures other than my own. I don’t think there’s a “best” flag anymore.
What are your flags?

P.S. Notice the doodles on the clipboard…smh I’ve always doodled…
P.P.S. Pray for Ukraine heart break
