Hi everyone! I wanted to share something God taught me recently that really encouraged me.
Last month, I was working on a big science project for our homeschool group’s fair. I had picked a topic I thought would be fun—how plants grow in different kinds of soil—but as the fair got closer, I started second-guessing everything. What if my experiment didn’t work? What if my presentation wasn’t good enough?
I prayed about it a lot, asking God to help me do my best. Even though I knew He was with me, I still felt nervous. The night before the fair, my mom reminded me of Philippians 4:6-7: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
That verse stuck with me. I realized that I needed to trust God and let Him handle my worries. The next day at the fair, I felt calmer than I expected. I shared my project with confidence, knowing that no matter what, God was in control.
Guess what? Not only did my project get great feedback, but I also made a new friend who shares my love for science! God showed me that when we trust Him, He often works in ways we don’t expect.
If you’re feeling nervous about something, just remember: God’s got you. Trust Him, and He’ll guide you through it. 😁😘😊
