Just Jacqueline

It was Friday and Janie and her mom were at my house.Sadly her parents had gotten divorced , but my Mom was talking to her about it and telling her a bit about God!

I was sitting in my room with Janie “You need to stay at  my house cause my cousin is coming and I cannot bare her on my own!”

“What do you mean?” Janie asked, giving me a funny look .

“Oh just wait and see,” I said flopping down on my bed. “She drives me nuts!”

“Hahaha how bad can she be?”

“Just wait!,” I repeated. It was a hour or so later when the door bell rang.

“Is that your cousin?”

“Yup what’s her name?”

“Blair, and she is SUCH a neat freak come on.

“Hi, Auntie May. Hi, Blair,” I said.

“Hello, sister. I’m so happy to see you,” Auntie May said as she and my mom hugged.

“It is sure MESSY in here,” Blair muttered. her face looking like there were rats and cockroaches crawling around. My brother and sister said hi and inched away to the kitchen to get a snack. I followed.

“I see you’ve met our cousin, Blair,” Joshua said groaning .Blair came in and Joshua quickly shut his mouth.

“Do you need something Blair? Joshua said sweetly.

“I just wanted to wash my hands,” she answered. Janie looked at me funny

“Told you,” I whispered. She stiffled a laugh.

The rest of the day was hilarious and miserable at the same time. Blair wouldn’t even come into my room complaining that it had a bunch a germs Janie thought that was extremely funny.

Eventually Blair and Auntie May left. I really liked Janie now. I am thankful I did what I did. I had made a new friend and hopefully one day a new friends for Jesus!

Sorry it took me so long to write I have been busy sorry again hope you like this chapter!

  1. Amazing! I love this. lol I am one of the messiest 12-year-olds of the century so I can definitely relate to the clean-freak thing being annoying with Jacqueline. I love your stories! It’s so engaging. It’s like reading Montgomery; everything feels authentic.
