God’s Love
Here is a poem I wrote for my Sabbath School class. I thought you all would like to read it. Enjoy!!
God’s love,
Cometh down from above,
Sweeter than honey,
And worth more than money.
Fairer than lilies of the field,
Nicer than apples trees could yield,
Brighter than the brightest light,
And tucks you in to bed at night.
Gentler than your mother’s soft kiss,
And better than a birthday wish.
Firmer than the firmest foundation,
More beautiful than your house’s decoration.
God’s love,
Cometh down from above,
Sweeter than honey,
And worth more than money.
(I think it so nice,
That I wrote these lines twice!)
The End.
(Stanza 1 was written by my mother)
