Laina was overjoyed as she kept looking at the arm that was bitten.
“God healed me!” she exclaimed
Everyone else gasped. “What did you just say, young lady?” said Mom.
“God healed me? What’s wrong with that?” she said
“Young lady, you know we dont say that name in this house! Go to your room!” Mom yelled.
“Bu-” Laina tried to say.
“Go! Now! Or you will be grounded!” she yelled.
Laina ran upstairs crying and slammed her door. “Whats so wrong about saying the word God?” she sobbed. She heard meowing from outside her door.
“Oh! You followed me up here?”she said as she snuggled with the kitten. “Hmmm. What should you’re name be?” she thought. “Ooh! Kat! That sounds good, right?”
The kitten softly meowed at the name. “Kat it is!” she giggled
