Titus 3:8 – Ezekiel Elliot and the Salvation Army

I’m not the biggest football fan, but I always enjoy a well thought out touchdown celebration.

Recently Ezekiel Elliot a bright young star for the Cowboys celebrated in a funny, and unique way after a score, by jumping in to a huge Salvation Army kettle. After his celebration a huge spotlight was brought to The Salvation Army. The Salvation Army is a worldwide organization that helps poor, destitute, and hungry people through charity, shops, shelters, disaster relief and other humanitarian aids.

Titus reminds us that as Christians we ought to devote ourselves to helping others. Especially this holiday season, whether we do something big or small any act of kindness is meaningful. The best way we can celebrate the season, and all God has blessed us with is by giving back. We don’t necessarily have to give a donation, we can give our time, but we must make sure we are a reflection of God to those around us.
