The War Room

Last night was the first round of the NFL Draft, were any of you watching? Here’s a basic synopsis of what happens: The 32 teams have a short amount of time to pick from a pool of players that just came out of college. This year, the Indianapolis Colts had the first overall pick. They ended up picking Andrew Luck. He’s supposed to be one of the best QB prospects in a long time.

What I thought was cool was the video of the different 32 draft rooms, aka War Rooms. They’re called War Rooms because inside these rooms, strategies are planned. There are huge multiple white boards in these rooms with notes attached to multiple players. It’s crazy in there!
When I think about it, it kind of makes me think about how God and satan plan their strategies. I’m sure both sides have a myriad of notes on each of us and both would love us to play for their sides but there’s a catch; unlike the NFL Draft, we get to decide what team we’re going to play for. Every choice we make leads us closer to one side and further from the other. In case you haven’t noticed, you’re already declaring which team you want to play for right now. The draft for you started when you were born 🙂 I know which team I want to play for, how about you?
