The Power of Positivity

What’s the point of playing if all you’re known for is losing? This team shares their incredible answer!

Even though the girls had lost close to 100 games, they still kept a positive attitude. At any point, they could’ve started feeling sorry for themselves and given up. I’m sure other teams would’ve like that. But this team, even when they only had three players, kept their spirits up and ended up winning!

The other thing that I want everyone to pay attention to is that the girls didn’t score a point from the field, but they did hit their free throws, which helped put points on the board. Sure, it’s not as glamorous as a dunk or a last-second shot, but it gets the job done.

As Christians called to share the message of God’s love with people, know that it’s not as flashy as a revival, or an amazing missionary story, but sometimes it’s just being a friend to someone that is the best way to be a Christian. It’s small acts like this that will eventually lead to big wins. Always remember to do the small things 🙂
