Row w/Purpose

This week I spoke about rowing with purpose. Here are two videos that inspired it all.

This first video is from a rowing class at Yale University. Pay attention to the guy commanding the rower, he’s very aggressive in his commands but that’s because he knows what the bigger picture looks like. This means he knows how much further they have to go until the end of the race. He also knows how far behind/ahead they are of the other team. See if you can spot when the rowers are out of sync and how that affects the speed of the boat.
This second video is from the Social Network movie. It depicts an intense race between Harvard’s rowing team and another rival school. If I was ever privileged enough to be accepted into an Ivy League school, I definitely would’ve been on a row team.
Remember that when it comes to your life, you must always row with purpose. Happy Sabbath!
