Numbers 6:24 – Jalen Hurts’ Comeback

The comeback story of Jalen Hurts is the stuff legends are made of, but what helped make it so special?

Last year, Alabama QB Jalen Hurts was injured in the CFP (College Football Playoffs) national championship game against the Georgia Bulldogs. He was quickly replaced by backup QB Tua Tagovailoa stepped in a won the game. After that, Jalen lost his starting position to Tua. Many people thought that Jalen should leave Alabama to go somewhere else where he could be a starter. But instead, he stayed and played backup to his former backup.

This year, in an SEC championship game against the same team (Georgia Bulldogs), Tua was injured and Jalen had a chance to lead once again. And he made the most of that opportunity. Jalen led his team to an SEC championship over the same team he was injured against last year. It’s an amazing story that was made special by the words Jalen said while standing on the championship podium. Watch below:

Sometimes life’s troubles are as easy as putting it in God’s hands. Hard test coming up? Study hard and put the rest in God’s hands. People pick on you in school? Continue to treat them with kindness and put the rest in God’s hands. Parents making you eat vegetables? Well, that you may be on your own. But in Numbers 6:24, “The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.”

May the Lord bless you all and give you peace as the year is quickly coming to a close 🙂
