Melanie Bailey, a cross-country runner, helped one of her competitors during a race. She was near the lead in the race when she saw Danielle LeNoue crying on the ground. Melanie stopped racing at that point and helped Danielle cross the finish line. Melanie sacrificed her position in the race to help carry a competitor across the finish line. Why do you think she did that?
