The Rio Olympics may be over, but I was thinking about the whole concept of the Olympics. Think about it…
Every four years, different countries send athletes to the games. These athletes are representatives of the various countries. While they are at the games, they try to do their best in honor of their country.
Now that concept is cool when you realize that Jesus has done the same thing to us! In John 20:21, Jesus mentions that He’s sending US into the world to be representatives for His kingdom. Now, we’re not doing the best we can for medals, but rather for people’s hearts. Cool, huh? Just remember that we are all Jesus’ representatives all day everyday 🙂
