Philadelphia Eagles defensive end, Chris Long is a native of Charlottesville, Virginia.
After all the turmoil that took place in August, Chris and his wife wanted to do something about it.
Earlier this week Chris announced that he will pledge his first six 2017 game checks to provide two students with a seven-year paid education program in Charlottesville. The scholarships will be for Chris’ alma mater, St. Anne’s Belfield School.
We are reminded in Acts 20:35 that ‘”It is more blessed to give than to receive.”
Giving allows us to store up treasures in Heaven rather than here on earth. Giving is really fun, this is something we need to be in on.
