Last week, Paul Long and his family were stranded on the side of the road in the small town of Ware, England. Apparently his car broke down on the way to taking his children to school. Many motorists had passed them by but guess who stopped to help?
None other than Major League Soccer (MLS) player David Beckham!
Beckham asked them if they were okay and then helped them push their car to the other side of the road. As soon as they were okay, Beckham went on his merry way to training.
This is a pretty cool story that illustrates that no one is above a little servanthood; not even a superstar.
