1 Samuel 17:45 – Whom Shall I Fear?

Do you think David was scared when he took on Goliath?

Up until that point, no one really knew about David the shepherd boy. But as David walked up to the battlefield and saw Goliath disrespecting his God, the spirit of the Lord must have raged up inside him because he showed no fear in declaring that he wanted to take on such a huge opponent. And why would David have to fear? He was standing up for the Lord. As the famous Bible verse goes, if God is for us, who can be against us? Whom shall we fear when God is on our side?

This week I found a really cool video that illustrates why we shouldn’t fear. Leave a comment below and let me know what you think!
