Maybe ’cause he’s driving and they’re standing? I mean, if he’s going down a one-way street the WRONG way, it’s not like they’re going to be able to hop in a car and chase after him. The car, if parked or moving, would’ve come down the other way and stopped him anyways. Just a guess.
