“Oh God, please help me!” Laina yells.
Then she felt a deep pang in her arm. It bit her.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAH! she screamed. The snake, alarmed, slithered away.
“What happened, Laina?!” yelled her mama as she busted out the front door.
“My arm! It got bit by a snake!’ Laina exclaimed, with tears in her eyes.
Naomi was an expert on nature, including snakes.
‘Brayden! Get some ice, quick!”* she yelled.
But the kitte-”
“Now!!!” Naomi interrupted Brayden.
He ran into the house.
Luke and Jeremiah gently took the kittens and brought them inside. While inside, with an ice pack on her arm, Laina was talking with her mama.
“Mama, there’s a weird feeling in my arm. I-it feels like its… healed!” she said.
“Well, it probably isn’t,” mama said. “you should get some rest.”
She got up and left. Now Laina was all alone. She began thinking about the incident.“Oh God, please help me!” she remembered. Why did she say that? Her whole family was Atheist, including her. She looked up at her siblings, all playing with the kittens. Then she looked at her arm. She slowly took the ice pack off. Her arm was fully healed! No red spots, no teeth marks, nothing! Just the same peach color as her other arm!
“It’s a miracle! Something, or Someone**, healed my arm!” Laina said.
“What? No way! That can’t happen! That’s impossible!” said Naomi as she looked at her arm.
Its healed! I’m telling you! Its healed!” Laina stated confidantly.
Part three next week!
* I don’t actually know what to do if you get bitten by a snake, but I’m sure this doesn’t work
**She doesn’t know Jesus did it, but he did so that’s why the s is capitalized.
