![]() Where were you born? I'm a native of the great state of Michigan. (Go Camp AuSable!) What are your hobbies? I enjoy hiking and other outdoor activities, singing, playing the guitar, and (of course) reading. What's your favorite junk food item? I rarely miss an opportunity to eat baklava! What is your favorite Bible verse? It's hard to choose, but one of my favorites is Romans 8:38, 39, which talks about how nothing can separate us from God's love. Would you ever go back and relive your teenage years? No, they weren't the greatest part of my life. I have a lot more friends now than I did back then. What are your nicknames? Well, someone has referred to me as "MissGuideEd," though I'm not sure that's a good thing. Can you change a car tire? Yes. I can change the oil too. My dad made sure of that! If you could go back in history and meet one person, who would it be, and why? I would love to meet Abraham Lincoln. I was born on his birthday (February 12), so I've always been a fan of this great leader from American history. Do you have pets? No, but I do enjoy feeding the birds outside. What is it really like working for Guide? It's a lot of fun! For starters, I get paid to read stories, and I like coming up with creative ideas for the magazine. It's very satisfying to spend my days helping kids learn about God and His Word. Plus I get to enjoy Randy Fishell's wacky sense of humor. But one of the most fun parts is meeting Guide readers. |
