Kharn Triton, a 17-year-old tiger-wolf-human hybrid, started as the underestimated one. He looked dangerous — messy black hair, upright wolf ears, sharp golden eyes, faint tiger stripes — but was considered “fast but weak.” His older sister Veronica (20) pushed him relentlessly to become stronger. His girlfriend Eve (over 20), a flirtatious and affectionate tiger-wolf-cat hybrid, gave him emotional warmth and love. Lira Drake (around 17), a quiet wolf-bird hybrid, completed their small found family.

After a brutal scientific experiment by the ruthless Dr. Elias Voss, Kharn’s rare Adaptive Evolutionary Singularity awakened. His body began evolving through trauma and survival. He gained explosive speed, an insane healing factor, and the terrifying Spectator Mode — where his eyes turned pitch black, granting 360° awareness and powerful telekinesis.

As Kharn grew stronger, so did his enemies. He clashed with his cousin Karn and the aggressive Eclipse Pack, faced seductive rival packs, and battled the forces of both the tyrannical King Samuel Fox and Dr. Voss.

Through relentless battles and leadership, Kharn united fractured hybrid packs. He proved his strength by soloing massive armies and rival groups. Eventually, he was crowned King Kharn Triton, Sovereign of the United Hybrid Alliance. He fought for civil rights, protected territories, and gave his people hope.

But power always demanded a price.

During the final, cataclysmic battle against the combined armies of King Samuel Fox and Dr. Elias Voss’s last desperate forces, Kharn pushed his abilities beyond their limits. Hovering above the battlefield with pitch-black eyes, he single-handedly dismantled tens of thousands of enemies with overwhelming telekinetic force, turning the tide of the war and saving countless lives.

As the last enemy fell, Kharn’s body could take no more.

He dropped from the sky like a broken star, crashing into the blood-soaked ground. Blood poured from his eyes, nose, and ears. His mutation had burned itself out protecting him, forcing his body into a deep, regenerative stasis.

He never woke up.

The healers called it a Neural Collapse Coma. His body remained perfectly preserved — forever 18 years old — but his mind was locked away, healing from the immense strain.

The world mourned. The rebellion had won its greatest victory, but at the cost of their King.

Eve stayed by his side every single day. Veronica ruled as Regent with iron will. Aurora worked tirelessly on technology to protect him. Lira and Badger helped lead the growing alliance.

A hundred years passed.

Hybrids gained civil rights. The hunts ended. The world changed.

And still, Kharn Triton — the boy who became King — slept.

Today was one of the biggest days of my life.

Our mission team finally arrived in India after many hours of traveling.

When our airplane landed, I looked out the window and smiled.

I thanked God for bringing us here safely.

Everything looked different from home.

The weather was warm and sunny.

The airport was busy with people from many places.

Soon we met members from the local Seventh-day Adventist church.

They greeted us with warm smiles and kind words.

Even though we had just met, they treated us like family.

After settling into our rooms, we gathered for worship.

We sang hymns together.

We read from the Bible.

We prayed for the people we would meet during the next few weeks.

Our leaders explained the projects we would be helping with.

We would help build churches.

We would help build schools.

We would visit villages.

We would share Bible stories with children.

We would pray with families.

Tonight I unpacked my suitcase and looked at my notebook.

This journey has finally begun.

I can't wait to see what God has planned for tomorrow.

Some stories are exciting.

Others remind me how faithful God is.

This notebook is about the greatest adventure of my life.

From June 4 through June 21, I joined a mission team that traveled to India.

Our mission was to help build Seventh-day Adventist churches, schools, share the gospel, hold children's programs, visit families, pray with people, and encourage local church members.

I promised myself I would write every day.

I never want to forget what God did.

And I'm back to remind us all that this is the final summer we have to finish the multi-author novel project.

The tale of the Frontier Faith summer camp and the quirky bunch of campers who start a prank war, survive feuds and find faith & friendships began in May 2025 last year. Since we began, we've written over 20 chapters and more than 30,000 words. We've learned new plotting techniques, encouraged each other with our writing, and built some strong skills and relationships along the way.

But yet, our project remains unfinished. 

And if we do not want to go down in Guide history as the 2nd forgotten MAP, we must rally our forces, and complete it this summer.

Devotional 1: The Ant — Small but Wise

Theme Verse

"Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest." — Proverbs 6:6–8

Tiny Teacher, Big Lessons

When most people see an ant, they hardly notice it. Some people step over them. Others brush them away. They are tiny creatures that weigh almost nothing and can disappear into the grass in seconds.

Yet God tells us to stop.

Not to admire an eagle.

Not to study a lion.

Not to watch a whale.

Instead, He says:

"Go to the ant."

Why would the Creator of the universe point us toward one of the smallest animals on earth?

Because God often teaches the biggest lessons through the smallest things.

The ant may be tiny, but it is one of God's greatest examples of wisdom, hard work, preparation, teamwork, and faithfulness.

God Created Every Creature with Purpose

Before the first human ever walked on Earth, God filled the world with living creatures.

He created giant elephants.

He made colorful butterflies.

He formed birds that fly through the clouds.

He designed fish that swim deep beneath the oceans.

And He also made ants.

Nothing God creates is accidental.

Every animal reflects something about its Creator.

Some show His power.

Some show His beauty.

Some show His creativity.

The ant shows His wisdom.

The Amazing World of Ants

Scientists estimate there are trillions of ants living around the world.

They live in deserts.

They live in forests.

They live in cities.

They even live underground where people rarely notice them.

An ant colony works like one giant family.

Each ant has a purpose.

Some gather food.

Some protect the colony.

Some care for young ants.

Some build tunnels.

Nobody has to remind them every morning what their job is.

They simply do what they were created to do.

What an incredible picture of God's design.

Lesson One: Faithfulness in Small Things

Most ants never become famous.

No newspaper writes stories about them.

Nobody applauds them.

Yet they continue working.

Jesus taught that people who are faithful in little things can also be trusted with greater things.

Many people dream about doing something big for God.

But God often begins by asking us to be faithful in small responsibilities.

Cleaning your room.

Helping your parents.

Doing homework honestly.

Keeping your promises.

Being kind when nobody notices.

Praying every day.

Reading the Bible consistently.

These small acts may seem unimportant, but they matter to God.

Faithfulness is never wasted.

Lesson Two: Work Is a Gift

Sometimes people think work is a punishment.

Actually, God gave Adam work before sin entered the world.

Work itself is good.

Hard work builds character.

Hard work develops patience.

Hard work teaches responsibility.

The ant never complains that collecting food is boring.

It simply keeps working.

There will always be jobs that seem ordinary.

Sweeping floors.

Washing dishes.

Studying for exams.

Practicing music.

Doing chores.

These everyday tasks become acts of worship when they are done with a thankful heart.

Lesson Three: Prepare Before the Storm

The ant gathers food during the summer.

It prepares while conditions are good.

Winter eventually comes.

The wise ant is ready.

Life also has seasons.

Sometimes everything feels easy.

Other times life becomes difficult.

The best time to prepare your heart is before trouble comes.

Read God's Word while life is peaceful.

Pray before problems appear.

Build your faith before challenges arrive.

A strong relationship with God today will help you stand tomorrow.

Lesson Four: Teamwork

One ant alone cannot accomplish very much.

But thousands of ants working together can build enormous colonies.

God never intended Christians to live alone.

He gave us families.

He gave us churches.

He gave us friends.

We encourage one another.

We pray for one another.

We help one another.

When everyone uses the gifts God has given them, amazing things happen.

Lesson Five: Never Give Up

Watch an ant carrying food.

If you place something in its path, it doesn't usually quit.

It climbs over it.

Walks around it.

Finds another route.

Keeps moving.

What a lesson for Christians.

Life will have obstacles.

Disappointments.

Failures.

Closed doors.

But God invites us to keep trusting Him.

Sometimes He changes our direction instead of removing the obstacle.

Persistence is often part of God's plan.

Lesson Six: Humility

Ants never boast.

They simply do their work.

The Bible teaches that God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.

Humility doesn't mean thinking less of yourself.

It means thinking of God more.

When we remember that every talent and blessing comes from Him, pride begins to disappear.

Lesson Seven: Every Christian Has a Job

Just as every ant has a role in the colony, every believer has a purpose in God's kingdom.

Some people teach.

Some encourage.

Some sing.

Some give generously.

Some pray faithfully.

Some quietly serve behind the scenes.

No job is unimportant.

God sees every act of love.

Lesson Eight: Little Steps Matter

Ants don't travel miles in one giant leap.

They take one tiny step after another.

The Christian life is much the same.

Growth doesn't usually happen overnight.

It happens one prayer at a time.

One Bible chapter at a time.

One act of kindness at a time.

One choice to obey God at a time.

Eventually, those small steps become a life that honors Christ.

A Story to Remember

Imagine two students.

One waits until the night before a test to study.

The other studies a little every day.

When the test comes, one is anxious, while the other is prepared.

The second student acted like the ant.

The same principle applies to our spiritual lives.

A person who spends time with God every day builds a strong foundation for the future.

Questions to Think About

1. What "small things" has God asked me to be faithful in?
2. Am I preparing my heart by reading the Bible and praying regularly?
3. Do I complain about work, or do I thank God for opportunities to serve?
4. How can I help others instead of trying to do everything alone?
5. Is there an obstacle where God is calling me to persevere instead of giving up?

Challenge for This Week

Every day this week:

• Read one chapter of the Bible.
• Pray for at least 10 minutes.
• Finish one task without complaining.
• Help someone without expecting anything in return.
• Thank God for the opportunity to work and serve.

As you do these simple things consistently, you'll be following the wisdom God teaches through the tiny ant.

Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for filling Your creation with lessons that point us to You. Thank You for the tiny ant and the wisdom it teaches. Help me to be faithful in the little things, to work with joy, to prepare for the future by growing closer to You each day, and to serve others with humility. Give me perseverance when life is difficult, and remind me that even small acts of obedience matter in Your kingdom. May my life reflect Your wisdom and bring honor to Jesus in everything I do.
