The adventure begins as everyone arrives at camp and meets the team.

The campers discover that this summer isn't going to be an ordinary one.

A mystery appears at camp, and nobody seems to know what's going on.

Chapter 4 — Into the Adventure

The team decides to investigate and discovers something they weren't expecting.

Chapter 5 — Lost!

The adventure takes an unexpected turn, and the team has to stick together.

Chapter 6 — The Big Discovery

A clue changes everything they thought they knew about the mystery.

Chapter 7 — Trust

The team faces its biggest challenge yet and learns an important lesson about faith.

Chapter 8 — The Final Clue

The mystery is almost solved—but there's still one major piece missing.

Everything comes together as the team faces the biggest challenge of the summer.

Chapter 10 — The End... or Is It?

The adventure comes to an end, but the memories, friendships, and lessons they've gained will stay with them.

So, with that in mind, why not do a mini early celebration! We're planning to post this story on Guide once it's all done, and for that we'll need cover and chapter art! So, calling all digital, physical and Canva artists! This is your opportunity to submit an image that could be used in the Great MAP Debut.

(It would be nice if you designed the image yourself, not totally with AI. You may use some AI elements, but we wanna see your art!)

Here are some details about the story which may help with the images:

Setting: Camp Frontier Faith. 

Rough synopsis: When an Adventist adventure camp (Frontier Faith) opens up in the suburbs of Mississauga, Ontario, our characters are shipped off to it for the summer (July and August) for various reasons. While there, instead of becoming united, fissions divide the campers, turning into an undercover prank war, tension-laced activities, snooty camp veteran squabbles, and some campers even go missing/get injured (at the climax). At the end, the campers discover the power of forgiveness/what it means to compromise and be a peacemaker/what unconditional love looks like, and leave the camp stronger for their experience.

Camp details: There are 4 cabin groups. Red team: the Spirit Flames. Yellow team: Anointed Oil. Green team: Olive Branches. Blue team: Living water. Each colour group has a girls' cabin and a boys' cabin, making at least 8 cabins on the woodsy property. They're kinda rustic and somewhat outdated. 

Special features: There's a swimming + canoeing lake. The campsite is ringed by woods and the lake. This year is wilderness themed. The counsellors wear neon camo suits. There's an auditorium, fire pit with tiered seating, and various admin cabins.

A Guide Mission for Faith, Courage, and Service

Mission Objective

Halloween is a holiday that has traditions many Christians choose not to participate in. This mission challenges you to make a thoughtful choice about Halloween while using the opportunity to show kindness, courage, and faith.

Your Mission

Learn what Halloween is, why some Christians choose not to celebrate it, and what the Bible teaches about making wise choices.

Then, instead of focusing on Halloween, spend the day doing something positive for God and your community.

Mission Challenges

• Research the history and traditions connected with Halloween.

• Read Bible verses about making wise choices and avoiding things that conflict with your faith.

• Talk with a parent, pastor, teacher, or Pathfinder leader about your decision.

• Choose not to participate in Halloween activities that conflict with your beliefs.

• Do something kind for someone who may feel left out.

• Give someone an encouraging note or message.

• Help your family, church, or community with a service project.

• Pray for your friends and classmates.

• Invite someone to do a positive activity with you instead.

• Write a short reflection about what you learned.

Bible Challenge

Read these verses:

Ephesians 5:11 — Think about the kinds of activities Christians should avoid.

Philippians 4:8 — Consider what kinds of things God wants us to focus our minds on.

Romans 12:21 — Think about how Christians can overcome negative influences by doing good.

The Big Challenge

On Halloween, don't just say “No.”

Say “Yes” to something better:

Yes to kindness.
Yes to helping others.
Yes to prayer.
Yes to serving.
Yes to following God.

Mission Complete!

After completing the mission, write this sentence in your Guide journal:

“I choose to follow God even when my choice is different from the choices of people around me.”

Then ask yourself:

How can I make my faith visible through my actions—not just my words?

Either way, Book 2 has been announced, and I am already planning the plot of the series. So, here is all the information that I will be revealing about book 2!

1: There will be 5 chapters

2: Rebekah and her family are on summer break from school and going to Miami, Florida to see the Smiths!!

3: NEW CHARACTERS!! But I will only announce Mr. Smith, and Justice Ray Smith. (Again, Congrats Amy Nichole!)

4: The Chapters will probably release during fall/wintertime. (Again, another long wait :( )

I am again very sorry about another long wait, but I am starting Public School this year: SO, I will be VERY busy. I am trying to write the chapters as fast as I can!
