snakeyesJonathan (aka snakeyes) had been part of the CyberClub for five years before joining our team of moderators in 2011. Below are some questions he has answered to help you get to know him better.

What are your hobbies?
I like reading and spending time with my family (that includes the dog). I also love to sing and play my ukulele. I happen to play six instruments: trumpet, baritone, piano, harmonica, ukulele, and fife).

Do you have a job?
Currently I work at La Sierra University as an electrician. Also during the summers I work at Pine Springs Ranch, a Seventh-day Adventist summer camp in California, as the head wrangler of the horse department.

What do you want to be when you grow up?
Funny, everyone already thinks of me as grown up! Ha-ha. But I want to be a pastor/missionary of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Where are you from?
I was born in Glendale, CA, on a Sabbath . . . and in the SDA hospital! I am a half-breed (he-he) but FULL Hispanic. My mother is from Mexico, and my father is from Chile. I have dual citizenship, meaning that I belong to Mexico and the USA, and I am currently working on my third citizenship (with Chile). I’ve lived in California for my entire life, with the exception of one year in which I lived in Mexico.

Why did you become a moderator?
That is a very good question. As a kid I was always on the chat. And then I grew older . . . and older . . . and older . . . and I realized that if I was a moderator I would be able to help kids learn more about our heavenly Father. So I remembered my old I.D. and went on and asked emarp how to become a moderator. She took me step by step, and here I am! The Lord is GOOD!

Fun facts about yourself?
H'mmmm . . . I absolutely LOVE working with horses. I teach children how to catch, saddle, and ride horses. I’ve done almost everything I can do on a horse, such as riding western, English, and bareback. I’ve also gone swimming on my horse (well, she did most of the work).

I love working WITH God.

Here are a few more pictures . . .  :)
