Enter a Photo Contest!

I don't mean to give away any of Rich's secrets, but in an upcoming Mud column he talks about some neat national parks he's visited. I love visiting national parks too, and while checking out some info from his column, I came across something that you might like to do.

There's a photo contest going on for pictures taken in U.S. national parks, national forests, and other public lands. If you're going on a trip any time soon, take your camera along and enter your best shots in the contest! There are categories for scenery, adventure, funny photos, animals, and more. You can enter until the end of this year.

You have to be 13 to enter the contest, but even if you can't enter, you can still look at the pictures on the site and find places you'd like to visit someday. I just saw some beautiful pictures of Zion National Park and Glacier National Park, which are both on my list of parks I haven't visited yet.

I'm glad that even though sin has messed up our world, there are still so many beautiful places to enjoy. Do you have any favorite nature places to visit, whether in the U.S. or some other country?
