What's a God Particle?
by Rich Aguilera

In the last few days you might have heard about something in the news called "The God Particle." What is that?
Well, for the past 50 years, physicists have been trying to confirm the existence of the Higgs Boson, a super-tiny particle. They hope this will start to explain many mysteries of the universe, such as, "What are we made of?" and how it's all put together at the tiniest, smallest level.

The confusing part about all this is the name, The God Particle.  This discovery is not a religious discovery.  The only "God connection" is what the Bible already tells us: That in the beginning God spoke and things were created, things of ALL sizes.

As science progresses and we're able to make newer machines and stronger microscopes, we get a better look and a stronger understanding of the tiny building blocks that nature is made of.  Think of it as suddenly realizing that each of your Lego pieces is actually made up of a billion itty-bitty Lego pieces.  It's just a better look at how big and how small are the things God created!
