A writer.

I collect flutes and learn musical instruments.

Chorizo, the way my mom makes it.

I speak Spanish, English, and a little Portuguese.

I can move my ears.

My Bible, a blanket, and a lighter.

What’s the best piece of advice your mom has ever given you?
Make God the focus of your life.

What’s the most amazing thing God’s ever done for you?
Healing me when doctors said I wouldn’t recover from viral meningitis.

Why did you decide to work for Guide?
Because it’s the perfect combination of my favorite things: God, kids, and their stories.
