On page 7 in this week's Guide, Omar Miranda writes down his top three requirements in choosing friends, Here is his list.

1. someone who is a godly person
2. someone who is honest and truthful
3. someone who is kind and gentle

What quality would you add next to the list for number 4?

That is a great list. I would probably say for #4 someone who cares about others and is always looking for ways to help.

A good sense of humour. Humourless people are a real drag during times of struggle....and life is a struggle.

I rarely use emotions cause they're useless.

Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.

Irregardless(idc if that's not a word), I disagree with your point that humorless people are a real drag during times of struggle and that life is a struggle. All people might struggle but I don't know your definition of struggle. My definition of struggle is people who have a difficult time going through something. Not all people have a difficult time going through something. I haven't yet. It might come but not all people struggle( my def of struggle). Now if your talking about in a spiritual sense I'll back off and agree with you.

Irregardless is a word...It means the same thing as regardless. Both the latter and former words can be used interchangeably, and though not the standard, irregardless is correct and in the dictionary.
