Hi!
Well, Imma writing a series of books, the Torsney Springs Adventures. It's a Christian/mystery/adventure/medical/coming-of-age fiction series sort of concoction. The series so far: Book 1: Rivals & Runaways Book 2: *TBD* I NEED TIPS YALL Lol, and not just from Khriz and Jo. And not just "I really like your book" or "I haven't read it because I'm not good at reading series." You don't even have to have read it (though preferably yes, haha). TIPS, PEOPLE!! Lol So what do you want to see??? What situations? character developments? biblical lessons? themes? In the meantime, here's a quick description of book 2 so far: It's 1995 in Torsney Springs, PA, and when 15-year-old Mark Sheridan finds some family photo albums in the basement, and a question is raised. Is he adopted? Meanwhile in Philadelphia, 14-year-old Ashlie Tanaka discovers she's being followed by a figure from her painful past: Mr. Pittman. When things take a turn for the worse for Mark's 13-year-old brother, Jared, Mark is forced to rethink his weak faith - and his choice might put him unsafely at odds with his friends. Stuck at the hospital for cancer treatments, Jared teams up with his new friend Ethan as they try to reach out - and figure out! - to an bitter teenage patient. -- sci_geeek |

Alright, figure from painful past. How bad do you want this past experience to be?
1. Maybe he killed her parents or something and tormented her (however way you decide) as if he's coming for her next you get me? 2. Or..............she was kidnapped by him in the past and luckily got set free but he's tracking her down. 3. I have a terrible one any girl would never want to face but I doubt Guide will allow me to say it. It's probably too sensitive. |

You're definitely going to need a smooth way to incorporate Ashlie with the rest of the plot. Also, the kidnapping thing might be redundant, seeing how three characters also got kidnapped in the previous book.

Oh yh I forgot they got kidnapped.Well, anything else would be too sensitive for this website, I think |

Thanks for the ideas! Sorry I haven't directly replied to any of them, just trying to avoid accidentally revealing any more of the book. Keep 'em rolling though...and I'm curious what others have to say...Chelsea? Catchild? (are they even here?? lol)

But the way you’re really able to make us feel like we are there with the characters is amazing. If you published a book I would definitely read it. Especially since I have lots of trouble finding good Christian books to read, the is amazing for me. P.S I hope you don’t feel like I’m bombarding you with praise. ![]() |

Hmmm… I think maybe you could add more descriptions of the scenes.
Umm… That’s all I can think of now. |

Well, if Mark is experiencing weak faith, then it may cause the Keans to rethink their faith; or you could have them be the ones to help Mark with his doubts. breyer horses + dog lover 24 wrote:
