TOPIC: Eternal Security or Conditional Perseverance?

Hi guys! I'm currently confused, can we lose our salvation or will we be always saved if we've accepted Christ into our hearts? I just want to know what you all think.

I believe that you can lose your salvation you once had. And the Bible has a few verses talking about it too.

2 Peter 2:20 (KJV)

For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

Ezekiel 18:24 (KJV)

But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.

I believe it is possible to lose salvation, but not every time we sin. God knows our heart. He knows if we love Him and are striving to be like Him or not.
God never takes away our choice. So if after being saved for a while we decide that actually we want to be like the world instead, God will not force our previous choice on us.
Idk if this makes sense to anyone... It does in my head! Hope it helps :)
Try being informed instead of just opinionated...
