Being born again means accepting Jesus as your Savior, or salvation. At that point in your life, God takes your heart and softens it like a baby's. As you grow more and more spiritually, it means you are maturing into an adult. However if you fall away and then come back with a repentant heart and want to follow always then being born again starts all over again.

That's how I understand it anyway. People, correct me if I'm wrong.
Sometimes we worry,
Sometimes we fret.
Sometimes we feel like
We can't move a step.

But God is still with us.
Keep Him in mind.
Trust in Him alway.
He is ever so kind.

To me it means to accept Jesus as your personal savior and friend. Being born again isn't being physically born again, but it means that you are becoming part of God's family. I think that everyday and sometimes multiple times a day you need to re-accept Jesus into your heart because even if we are part of his family, that doesn't mean that satan is gonna just stop tempting us. Baptism is a good way to express publicly that you are accepting Christ into your heart. Hope this helped! If you want me to give you some Bible verses and stuff that helps, just let me know!

I'd love some verses @Christian Country Girl (do you love in the country because i do too :woohoo: )

Do you guys think that we have to give up the stuff that we like when we're born again? And is there another name for it?

Giving up stuff? Are they interfering with your connection with God? If it's something like drugs or smoking then yeah. Even little stuff like a book that you really like but that has cussing or something else in it, I would give up. Throw it away for crying out loud!

But stuff that Jesus wouldn't be displeased with you can keep.

So if I were born again do I still have to die?

1 Corinthians 2:14
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Are you really wondering or are you quizzing people? Knowing you, I'd think you would already have answers.
... Even if it gets me convicted
I’ll still be on my knees with my hands lifted ...
... If saying I believe is out of line
If I’m judged cause I’m gonna give my life
To show the world the love that fills me
Then I want to be Guilty ...

Lol, I had this feeling that you'd be the one to ask that. I interested to know what you guys understand and believe about being born again. I've never really heard kids talk about what they know about this subject.
