I used to think that Narnia books were good but they are not! I read an article on amazing discoveries that said that Narnia was witchcraft! :)

I've never read Narnia books, but that's interesting.

C.S. Lewis wrote Narnia as the great controversy. The series covers the basic principles and is here to teach us in a different way.

Some of the stuff in there is related to witchcraft. I read an article about it on an SDA website.

okay here we go, the thing here is that while it was written as a parable it has some questionable aspects about it, such as that some characters borrowed from Greek mythology and other such sources. You see the thing here is that some characters have the same descriptions as Greek gods and etc. and some of them are portrayed as your friend and it goes on but this little debate has been going on almost since C.S Lewis wrote the series
"Some wish to live within the sound of a chapel bell, I wish to run a rescue mission within a yard of hell." -- C.T Studd 20th century missionary

I googled "amazing discoveries" and clicked on the site. I searched "Narnia" and the first result lead to witchcraft, and I read the article. I'm not going to give it away, but read it!!!!

That's amazing! I read The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, Prince Caspian, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, and started The Silver Chair. Yes, I can see magic and witchcraft, and C.S. Lewis said himself that it was not meant to represent things, but it turned out that it represented good Bible-related morals. But I just have to disagree. Aslan made a really good Jesus (And in the movie, a really good voice) and the White Witch made a really good--no, wait, do I mean bad?--Satan.

I have read the seires. That is true that it prtrays much of the charecteristics of Greek Mythology. But the only way to discern is with the bible. Also just because you read an article doesn't mean its true. I know many christians who believe that SDAs hold Ellen White writings = to or above the bible. Just because you read that about C.S Lewis doesn't mean its true either. discern with the bible.

One question, whats so important about this. It is just a childrens book, and Narnia is better than Harry Potter. C. S. Lewis wanted to create a book that works with the world and the Bible. OK now i really dont know who to side it with, but come on, whats your point? Whats so bad or good or whatever that this article said that it is based on whitchcraft?
So let me sing for the love
Let me love for the lost
Let me lose all I have
For what I found on the cross
Let me trust you with my life
Let me live to give you praise
Lord, let me praise you
For the grace by which I'm saved
Lord, let me sing

I totally agree with you and SDALegacy also has a point that some articles canĀ“t be trusted, Plus the author(of Narnia) was Cristian, althugh i have never heard of Ellens writings being hailed over the Bible.
