Once I was listening to this story on Pathway of the Pioneers (talking about the beginning of Seventh-day Adventism) and Ellen White's daughter in law was asking her if it was okay to wear a wedding ring 'cause she was going to be traveling around with Willie (Sister White's son) doing ministry stuff and she didn't want people to think that they were unmarried and doing... you know..stuff, and Sister White said it was okay to make sure that others knew that they were married. A wedding ring isn't (suppose to be) a large rock on your finger for you to show off to everyone to let them know that you've got a rich husband. Its so that others know that you're taken (like what everyone else was saying).

Hey I love to listen to those too! I hear them in the car every time we go on a road trip!!!
me too (or is that three!!!)
All have fallen short of the glory of God our penalty is death but thanks be to God he has made a way for us!

i think that they are ok, as long as thats not all you are thinking abut :dry:

So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

I like to call them "jewelry" and I don't think they're acceptable. I think Paul said something about jewelry or "outwardly adornment" and I agree that women should not put all that stuff on their bodies.

Women aren't the only ones who wear jewelry.

Honestly, I think its perfectly fine to wear wedding rings because it shows that your married to the person and love them. as long as its not some ginormous thing where you wanna show it off

Think about this. Are you wearing your wedding ring to symbolize your love for your spouse or are you wearing it to make yourself look "better?" Being married is kinda like Baptism. When you get Baptised you are showing the world that you are commited to Jesus Christ. At the same time that wedding ring symbolizes and shows the world that you and your husband or wife are one. :)
You may not have a special life.... But you make life special.
Ps. I got that from a TV show!
