I would tell Jeff that anyone who starts something new, doesn't get it on first trial. You just have pray to God and ask him for strength to help maintain this routine with God. No one should ever give up on anything especially not God. And it is ALWAYS the point when it comes to spending time with Jesus Christ. The point is not to give up on God because he won't give up on you.
