If I'm understanding what you're asking, here is my humble reply from someone who used to do a lot of stop-motion animation!There are a few factors: a steady camera, tiny movements, and large fps. All three of these work in tandem to help create a very smooth stopmotion! With a tripod set up, you can take a bunch of pictures and move things around and have a very steady shot! So when MB Studios makes his stopmotion, he takes a picture, moves the LEGO character's arm/head/legs a very tiny bit, and then takes another photo. I don't have much experience with this because I never really put my stopmotions into a nice editing software, but the larger the fps, the faster the photos will cycle through, creating a smooth stopmotion.
