*Copy-pasting main arguments and points cause the article has some comments that have vulgar language. The text in italics is my little notes*

(Intro):
One of the core arguments used by ‘pro-lifers’ in the fierce, contentious abortion debate is one we’ve all heard before – ‘life begins at conception.’ While scientists and lawmakers are still at odds over how exactly the ‘beginning of life‘ is determined, the biggest issue at hand remains that people feel entitled to tell others what to do with their bodies, without having much interest in dealing with the aftermath. Seriously, when we see pro-lifers adopting some of the disadvantaged children they so desperately wanted to be born, then we’ll talk about hearing out their side.
This idea of people claiming to be ‘pro-life,’ but actually only being pro-childbirth and pro-dominance-over-female-bodies, is central to a Twitter argument from The Ark Trilogy author Patrick S. Tomlinson that is currently going viral. In a thread of just 9 tweets, Tomlinson proposes a simple question that will leave any pro-lifer scrambling to assemble a coherent answer.
Scroll down to find out what he wrote, and let us know if you agree with his point of view in the comments.

Here is a picture of Patrick S. Tomlinson, an author (The Ark Trilogy) who just shattered a key anti-abortion argument. (I attached a pic for you :) )
In a thread of just 9 genius tweets, Tomlinson asks one simple question (I'll write out the tweets for you, his Twitter is @stealthygeek if you want):
Whenever abortion comes up, I have a question I've been asking for ten years now of the "Life begins at Conception" crowd. In ten years, no one has EVER answered it honestly. 1/ ("1/" Means end of first thread, cause Twitter only lets you have a certain amount of letters in each post ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
It's a simple scenario with two outcomes. No one ever wants to pick one, because the correct answer destroys their argument. And there IS a correct answer, which is why the pro-life crowd hates the question. 2/
Here is is. You're in a fertility clinic. Why isn't important. The fire alarm goes off. You run for the exit. As you run down this hallway, you hear a child screaming from behind a door. You throw open the door and find a five-year-old child crying for help. 3/
They're in one corner of the room. In the other corner, you spot a frozen container labeled "1000 Viable Human Embryos." The smoke is rising. You start to choke. You know that you can grab one or the other, but not both before you succumb to smoke inhalation and die, saving no one. 4/
Do you A0 save the child, or B0 save the thousand embryos? There is no "C." "C" means you all die.

In a decade of arguing with anti-abortion people about the definition of human life, I have never gotten a single straight answer A or B answer to this question. And I never will. 5/
They will never answer honestly, because we all instinctively understand the right answer is "A." A human child is worth more than a thousand embryos. Or ten thousand. Or a million. Because they are not the same, not morally, not ethically, not biologically. 6/
This question absolutely evicerates their arguments, and their refusal to answer confirms that they know it to be true.

No one, anywhere, actually believes an embryo is equivalent to a child. That person does not exist. They are lying to you, 7/
They are lying to you to try and evoke an emotional response, a paternal response, using false-equivalency.

No one believes life begins at conception. No one believes embryos are babies, or children. Those who claim to are trying to manipulate you so they can control women. 8/
Don't let them. Use this question to call them out. Reveal them for what they are. Demand they answer your question, and when they don't, slap that big ol' Scarlet P out of the Patriarchy on them. the end. 9/9

Because a lot of people are missing the point, it is not being argued the embryos are not alive. Nor is it being argued they are without value.

That that is being demonstrated is their value is not equal to that of a human child.

That's it, that's the point.

Okay, so this person is clearly very headstrong about his beliefs. I'm not posting this to claim my side, I just want to put it here. There are WAY TOO many comments on the post of the website I found it on, and I'm lazy for copy and paste, so if you guys have any arguments against this, I'll just find the comment that relates to it and post it x) There were some rebuttals to him on Twitter, so I picked the clean ones and cleared out the explicit language for you:Here you go ^O^ Also don't slap anyone please, maybe don't be so up in their face too, try to make it a "civil matter" like in the topic title haha.
But if abortion won’t save a life, then shouldn’t we save a future life?

Now that's odd. Satan used to be a created angel named Lucifer. After Lucifer became Satan he got booted out of heaven and is the prince of this world the Bible says. I also don't think this had to do with politics.

I am not Adventist. I mostly stay here because it is the only forum on the internet where I know other people and people know me. It’s kind of like a community and it feels better that way and although I could rather talk to people with the same humor as I have, I have a connection with you ppl
