Hi all,

I have been asked to find Christian books that could help a Christian kid have a better relationship with Jesus or even help a non-Christian find Jesus. I already have "iChoose His Way" by Hannah Rayne, "Great Stories For Kids " by Jerry D. Thomas, "Happiness Digest" by Ellen G. White, and "Just Plane Crazy" by Melanie S. Bockmann. Any other ideas?

Thanks a lot!

Hi Bluetornado,

The best Christian book to help kids or non Christians have a relationship with Jesus would be the bible ;)

Steps to Christ, Messages to Young People, any book from the Conflict of Ages series (Patriarchs and Prophets, Prophets and Kings, Desire of Ages, Acts of the Apostles, The Great Controversy). All written by Ellen White, inspired by God. The conflict of ages series is really cool 'cause she writes it in a way that's almost story like but its all true and its riddled with a plethora of bible truths.

Ooh I see my suggestion up there! Lol! Also, another good one would be "Christ Objects Lessons" It does depend on how old the kids are though. :)
Blessed Assurance! Jesus is mine!

Ok, this is weird, it I say The Chronicles of Narnia. I know that's not necessarily a Christian book, but it's allegory points to the Bible. I guess it sort of depends on what "stage" of your faith you're at. Because when I read it, I knew God was real, but I didn't think He could do anything for me. I needed Him, but it seemed like He just wasn't there for me. I hated being "preached at" so it's not like I read any of Ellen White's books then. The Narnia books just somehow helped me to see that God loves us and is always near us.
