From time to time people will sit down and debate in a formal setting. To begin the debate, each opponent has a long opening argument in which they outline their position and a few of the supports of their argument. Suppose that you were asked to defend the position of creation at a debate in your school. You want to show both the logical necessity of creation and the beauty of God’s love. For your opening argument, what ideas would you use to promote the truth of creation over evolution? How would you combine God’s love with scientific fact?

There is a lot of good evidence out there that points to God, or at least an intelligent Creator. Just one example is the phenomenon of irreducible complexity.

Example: a wing cannot function as a wing unless all the different components fall together at the same time. According to evolution, each part randomly appeared one at a time, and those with it had an advantage that eventually became a wing. But that is not possible, because if a wing is missing its fundamental parts, it is completely useless and gives no advantage at all.
All rules have exceptions, including this one.
