Sheilah and her mother are always fighting. Sheilah’s mother will say something, and Sheilah will react by snapping at her, “You’re always on my case!” Sometimes Sheilah will roll her eyes and sigh, or just ignore her mother. Sheilah’s mother often responds by saying, “Because you never listen to me!” Then Sheilah will click her teeth or go to her room.

Both of them are frustrated. What can each of them do to make things better between them?

LISTEN. BOTH of them.

You keep me steady when the sky is falling
And I'll keep steady after You,
I'll carry on when my strength is failing
Take heart cause You're with me
So let the stars drop,
Whatever comes I'll be ready
You keep me steady

First, ask God to help them individually. Then sit down in a calm manner and discuss things. At the end of the discussion, pray together. If all else fails, get counseling.
