It’s Pathfinder Bible Experience. A bunch of teams from different Pathfinder clubs study a book of the Bible super hard, then they all meet and answer questions. Some sample questions are here. it’s not very interesting to watch, because the audience can’t come past a certain point, and all you see from the back is a bunch of scattered teams, members huddled together, whispering about the answers to the questions asked in a monotone voice by the lady up front.
But when you’re on a team?
PBE isn’t a really active sport. Common injuries mostly include my friend poking me with my pen after I wrote a stupid answer. (I’m the scribe; I write my team’s answers down.) If you’re on the team, you get the satisfaction of knowing that you’ve memorized more of Luke than almost anyone else you know. And if you get first place in a round, you get to travel. You have to get at least 90% of the highest score in order to get first place. So usually there’s more than one team in first place.

For me Conference was the hardest. Division was a breeze.

Ahh, that explains. Thanks for the explanation! I've never heard of it before now (despite the fact that I'm in Pathfinders)

You just spent five(ish) months studying the book of Luke for a competition. Sure, you didn't make it to the final, national level, but who cares?
