When you say Hezekiah? Are you asking for Isaiah 37:15, 1 Chronicles 3:13, 2 Kings 19:3, 2 Kings 20:10, Isaiah 37:5, 2 Kings 19:5 or many other mentions? I used my phone to find these. All I had to do was search Hezekiah. I already knew Hezekiah was recorded in Kings and Chronicles, but I had no idea he was mentioned in Isaiah or even Proverbs. Often when I find people saying digital bibles prevent you from using paper bibles have never used a digital one. No offense btw.

All of the pastors in my church have iPads and use them in their sermons, although I believe they use them to keep their notes rather than for bible reference (but I same diff) I personally use my kindle as my bible because it's easier to keep track of.
As for high heels I personally wear heels quite often and have several pairs that are about 5 inches tall. I can't really think of anything wrong with them, other than the fact that they can be bad for your back. I actually really feel comfortable some of my heels. My favorites are black leather boots that go up to about my knee and have a 5 inch heel, but it is a thick heel so it isn't wobbly. I do have those though. My graduation shoes were also about 5 inches high and the heel was a tiny little pencil. This was no problem until I had to walk off the stage in my floor length dress, that was a little more tricky. But enough rambling. Basically I love my high heels, I just think they are super cute. The first few days I wear them my feet are sore but after a little while I get accustomed to them. The only time I have trouble with them is on stairs, and I do trip occasionally but I do that no matter what shoes I'm wearing so it doesn't really matter to me.

As to playing games I don't think you should be playing secular games on Sabbath (But I can admit to being guilty of having done it). When I can't concentrate I read a Christian book instead, that way even if I don't listen to the sermon I am still learning from the book (and due to my manner of learning I learn far better from reading things than hearing them) and it doesn't distract anybody. The only games I can think of having played during church are puzzle games I had on my kindle. They kept my hands occupied. I have occasionally played solitaire on my phone on Sabbath, but mostly at night when I'm having trouble sleeping. I have some anxiety issues and it's a very calming action for me. Focusing on numbers and strategy instead of worry or fear. However I have done that less and less as time has gone on as I have found it less necessary.

1. Yes, I think it's fine to use iPads. I don't think it would change the way the speaker presents as opposed to using a paper copy.

2. I would ask those that do play games, "Why are you at church then?"

3. Haha, I don't have any experience w/ high heels  (I'm a guy). I would wonder what the purpose is for wearing them.

i have no idea why us girls wear heels accept that they look cute(the ones that dont have crazy stuff on them like spikes or something... 0_0)

anyways, last question:

do you think it is appropriate for teens (14+) to wear high heels? i dont mean the 2 or 3 inch heels im talking about the ones that are, like, 10 inches high(not literaly). cuz a lot of teens at my church wear ridiculously high heels and i wonder if they should even be doing that.

(P.Smoderators can answer too.)

I think it's up to them, but I think that heels are ridiculous! And to be honest, the only reason the are so popular is 'cause a bunch of guys made them popular 'cause they thought it made girls look hot. Yet guys hate it when a girl is taller than them!!! I've got like, 1 or 2 inch heels, and my mom only lets me wear them like one or two days a month. And I only really wear them if I think that a character I'm playing in drama should have heels. Or when I think the 1/2 inch ones look good with an outfit I'm wearing.

Theese questions are really important topics to talk about but just remember that we can't judge people just because thier opinion is different like if you think that high heels are wrong that's fine but don't go around telling peoplewho do where them it's wrong or that using I-pads is wrong either because maybe other people have different perspectives on theese things. just putting that out there.................

as for ipads, i guess i was kinda judging the mother who let her daughter use it, but i just think that playing those kinds of games is wrong! :)

Heels? I think personally that you should stay in an age group! Like what type of school you are in currently! Elementary School: NOOOOOO!!! only 1 inch!!! Middle School: 5 inches tops
High School: Whatever!

Okay, Lol, a few weeks ago I gave a sermonette, in which I used my iPod to store my notes. Anyways, afterwards, my mom and I were walking in our 3inch(Mine) and 5inch(Mommy's) heels and talking. We were basically on a sidewalk, and we were talking about a friend of mine, who wears incredibly high heels(She and I are 13) and how I wish I could wear heels that high. At that point, I trip on a slab of raised concrete(Which MUST be fixed SOON) and almost scrape my knees before I catch my balance. I ended up TOTALLY scuffing the toe! WAH!

I'm not against heels, but
It's not good for kids under 20ish to wear heels because their bones aren't developed all the way and that it can deform them.....

What do you mean, if it isn't distracting anyone? It's distracting the child! I think Sabbath should be for God. Games can wait. Oh, and i think the real Bible is better than and ipad. Really, you're not learning where to find things in the Bible. Ex, time yourself and see how long it takes to find Hezakiah....

i looked for hezakiah for at least 2 min. and had to finally check in the table of context thing at the front of the book and found out that the book doesnt even exist... total time it took...3 minutes and 25 seconds

Q2:is it okay to let kids play secular games on electronics as long as it isnt distracting anyone?

I hear what you uys are saying coming from an Adventist Point of view so give this Scenario a chance. Mom with 5 kids all under 9 comes to church young mom still in her 20's new to the church Gives her kids a snack then lets them play on the I pad because for them this new experience is too much for them to sit Quietly through the Full service they have not Grown up here it is all new. They already sat Through Sabbath school they are Antsy. Mom really just wants to Grow in God she is Curious so she wants to stay for the Sermon but can't learn if she is full in arms with her kids and the baby what is your Answer here is the I pad still Wrong?? Some of you make the Secular games in the church are the Devil do you still think that?
