I totally believe that Sabbath lands on Saturday. More specifically, sunset Friday to sunset Saturday. If you look in the Bible, there is a bunch of references about how Saturday IS SABBATH!! Thus, the name Seventh Day Adventist.

Saturday is definitely the Sabbath. Even the Catholics believe that, but they believe that the pope or someone like that of high power in the Catholic church had the power to transfer the holiness of the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday. In a book for Converts to Catholicism, they ask which day is Sabbath, and they say the answer is Saturday. Now what about the "protestants" that go to church on Sunday? The Catholic church basically calls them hypocrites, because they are supposed to be the ones that follow the Bible completely and utterly. But where in the Bible does it say the day of worship changed from Sabbath to Sunday? Nowhere! The Catholics and some early Christians in Rome and some rulers (like Constantine) developed the whole Sunday thing. So what are the people who go to church on Sunday doing? Whether they know it or not, they are, in a way, paying homage to the Catholic church, admitting that the Catholic church has the power to change something that only God has the power to do. Now, it's not like the people that go to church on Sunday are bad or anything, a lot of them really truly love God with all of their hearts. I just wish that all of those people out there that go to church on Sunday at least knew the history about the whole Sunday being the day of worship thing.
(All of the stuff I said I learned from a really fascinating DVD series about the antichrist that our pastor showed us at our SDA school...if you read something and want to correct something I said or want to add to it, please do, because really, there are a lot of other powers that contributed to the change of the popular day of worship, Sunday, not just the Catholic church.) |

The Bible says the seventh day is the day of rest, in it we shall do no work. And God also said that the seventh day is the Sabbath.
