One of my favorite things to do on the Sabbath is to read, but lately I've had no new books to read. So lets talk about awesome books that you like top read on the sabbath!

I like reading the codebearer books, Detective Zach, Justin case, path finders and Grace Livingston hill.

So what do you guys like?
The awesome christian gamer. :D

I love Cleste Perrino's books... I've read "Prayer Warriors" and the two books that follow it. And "The Eleventh Hour" and the "Midnight Hour" and another one whose name escapes me but that is also by her. I also like to read Detective Zack, Ready to Ride club, and other Adventist book series on the Sabbath :)

I love those books! I however disagree on just one point, you should read them in the order the author planned (the day the school blew up first, then camporee of doom) My reasoning is that in the school one, you get to know the people, and while it does mention the camporee in that book, I think you will understand the plot of the camporee book better if you have already read the school one. Thats my opinion...

i read books by Nancy Rue. she writes books for pre-teen to teenager girls. they are Christian and really good. I love to read those on Sabbath! Also, I read this book called "Project Sunlight". that book is really good for Sabbath. :)

Ok, I saw this last from years ago and bought it would be cool to start it up again. So.... what do you like to read on Sabbath?
... Even if it gets me convicted
I’ll still be on my knees with my hands lifted ...
... If saying I believe is out of line
If I’m judged cause I’m gonna give my life
To show the world the love that fills me
Then I want to be Guilty ...

I want to read The Screwtape Letters, I think it might be interesting. The 4th book of the Dahveed series has been out for a while. It was sad because, SPOILER ALERT, Johnathan dies (but you knew that anyway). The fifth book is out too, you should be able to find them at the ACBC. Whenever it comes around it usually carries several of the Dahveed books.

I know the 4th book is out, but I've only been able to find it on kindle and stuff. Not in an actual physical paper book

Really? Because we have all the books 1-5 in physical paperback at home. We didn't look very much to find it. More permanent and/or well stocked book stores such as those at universities and those at camp meeting will probably have them.

I believe it's out in the acbc. I was even able to find the fifth book in the physical store in Charlotte, NC.
